A local resident was killed when the village of Maksimovka in the Belgorod Region was shelled. This was announced by the regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
“The man was driving a car on the highway at the time of the projectile’s arrival. He died on the spot from the wounds he received,” Gladkov wrote in his Telegram channel.
One more person, who was driving on the highway during the shelling, was wounded. Ego was taken to the hospital.
As a result of the shelling, two residential buildings, two cars and a bus stop were damaged.
Gladkov claims that on Wednesday the village came under fire twice from the Armed Forces. As a result of the first attack, a private house was damaged, the owner of the house was injured. The power transmission line, which supplies three settlements, was also damaged.
