On the morning of November 28, in the village of Yubileynoe, Kherson region, which is occupied by Russian troops, the building of the police department was destroyed as a result of shelling. As a result, four Russian policemen died, 17 more were injured. This was reported by ASTRA telegram channel.

According to the publication, most of the policemen working in this department came from Russia. ASTRA sources claim that policemen are promised double salaries and various privileges if they agree to work in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

One of the dead, senior police lieutenant Mergen Nymgyrov, came to work in the Kherson region from Moscow. Lieutenant of justice Elena Holodyaeva and lieutenant colonel of justice Amida Mydelashvili, who were wounded in the shelling, came to Yubileynoe from Astrakhan. The injured police captain Yury Panchenko came to the village from Stavropol.

However, local residents – former employees of the Ukrainian police – also worked in the department.
