In the Moscow Region, due to drones, the rules of small aircraft flights have been changed

Aerodromes of the Moscow region began to transmit information about flights not only to Rosaviatsiya, but also to law enforcement agencies, due to the fact that local residents mistakenly mistake small aircraft for drones and report them to emergency services. RBC writes about this with reference to representatives of airfields
The management of the Shchekino, Volosovo, Nudol airfields near Moscow and the Paralyot Aeroclub say that residents of neighboring villages often report Ukrainian drones allegedly flying to Moscow. After that, the police starts an investigation and asks the airfields for data on what kind of aircraft were in the air at that time. Often, a “drone” turns out to be a small plane, paraglider or paraglider, say representatives of airfields.
Earlier, the police came, watched, asked, said Victor Lobkovsky, director of the Vector Avia company, the operator of the Nudol airfield. Now he informs about departures in advance to the local branch of the Unified Duty Control Service.
According to the director of the Shchekino airfield, Sergey Ryabchinsky, FSB and police officers showed him videos taken by people and asked him to identify this or that aircraft.
As a result, the heads of the airfields agreed with law enforcement agencies that they would provide flight plans in advance.
At the same time, as noted by RBC, not all airfields face police and FSB inspections. “Novinky” and “Severke” reported that their work has not changed.
However, according to the president of the General Aviation Federation of Russia Sergey Minigulov, the most serious impact on the flights of small aircraft in the Moscow region was the jamming of the GPS signal.
Moscow and the suburbs are regularly attacked by drones. In recent months, drones have flown several times to different districts of Moscow and even to the Kremlin. The last time a drone was shot down in Moscow was August 26. Russia invariably blames Ukraine for the attacks, Kyiv does not officially comment on these events.
