The teenager studies in one of the Krasnoyarsk gymnasiums. According to the investigation, the schoolboy planned to set off an explosion in the Kirovsky market with the help of a homemade bomb.
As Baza writes, the teenager allegedly decided to order parts for the bomb on the Internet, and when he came to pick them up on the evening of August 23, FSB officers were waiting for him.
During the search of the detainee’s house, operatives allegedly found some chemical substances and smoke grenades. The schoolboy was arrested, a criminal case of preparation for a terrorist attack was opened against him.
In February of last year, a teenager from Kansk, Nikita Uvarov, was sentenced to five years of real life under the article of receiving training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities. At the time of his arrest in the summer of 2020, he was 14 years old.
The FSB began to detain teenagers more often on suspicion of preparing terrorist attacks. There are often cases when employees of the special services act as provocateurs. They find teenagers in public places on social networks, read correspondence – mainly in group chats and comments, and then provoke teenagers into dangerous conversations.
After a series of correspondence, the teenager is scheduled for a meeting, where he is detained and accused of preparing a terrorist attack or mass murder. So, in Saratov in 2020, two teenagers were detained on suspicion of preparing an attack on a school.
For the last several months, those detained on charges of preparing a terrorist attack regularly said that they were pushed to do so by threats and deception by fraudsters “from Ukraine”.
