FSB officers came to the village of Bezenchuk in the Samara region to search the residence of activist Pavlo Chalov, whose mother lives in the house. After the search, she was taken to the FSB department in Chapaevsk for questioning. Chalov told “OVD-Info” about this.

In the conversation, the FSB officers said that they were looking for those who “may be involved in the bridge explosion.” As “OVD-Info” writes, it is probably about the undermining of the bridge on the Chapaevsk-Zvezda line, which happened on March 4. As a result of the explosion, no one was injured, the movement of trains was suspended for several hours.

The investigative department of the FSB of Russia in the Samara region opened a criminal case under the article on sabotage.

The GUR of Ukraine commented on the explosion. “The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirms the fact that the railway bridge across the Chapaevka River in the Samara Region is out of order,” the special service said in a statement. It is confirmed that the bridge was used to transport military cargo, including engineering ammunition produced by the Polymer plant in Chapaevsk.
