In Tomsk, the mobilized received 7 years for two escapes from the unit

In Tomsk, the court sentenced a man mobilized in the case of desertion of a military unit during the period of mobilization to seven years in the colony under the general regime. This is stated on the website of the Tomsk Military Garrison Court.

According to the court, in September the serviceman was called up as part of the mobilization, and on December 14, 2022, he left the unit and went to his roommate, where he “spent time as he pleased.” On March 3, he was found by the military prosecutor’s office, but on March 21, the defendant left the unit again. Ego was found again on April 2.

The mobilized person was convicted under two articles of the Criminal Code: leaving a part for a period of more than 10 days, but not more than one month, and also leaving a part for a period of more than one month. Judging by the file of the court, we are talking about a mobilized person named Ivan Klester.
