In Vladimir, a person who threw a Molotov cocktail at the administration was detained

In Vladimir, an unknown person was detained, who, according to the authorities, tried to throw a can with a flammable mixture into the building of the regional government.

No one was injured, the circumstances of the incident are being clarified, the press service of the government of the Vladimir region reported.

The video was published by Mash Telegram channel. It shows the moment of explosion and fire in the building of the regional government, as well as a person who runs away from the scene. According to Baz, the bottle with the incendiary mixture hit the window of the building, but did not break it, but fell to the ground. While running away, the attacker allegedly threw another Molotov cocktail at a car parked next to the regional government building, which was later extinguished by firefighters. Shortly after the incident, the suspect was detained. Nothing is said about his personality and motives.

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, more than a hundred attempts to set fire to various administrative buildings, usually military recruitment centers, have been made in various cities of Russia. As a rule, the damage was insignificant, there were no victims in such fires. As a rule, those who tried to set fire to buildings are tried under the act of terrorism, which provides for significant terms of imprisonment even in the absence of victims and damage.
