IT services make up the largest share of Ukrainian exports — 41.5%

Despite the full-scale war, IT remains one of the biggest drivers of economic development in Ukraine.

About this reported Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov with reference to the study of the IT Research network – “Ukraine 2023: Adaptability and resilience during war”.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, in 2023 the forecast volume of exports will be at the level of 7 billion dollars, which is 41.5% of Ukrainian exports.

At the same time, the number of Ukrainian Haitians is increasing.

“For 2023, we already have more than 307,000 specialists — this is almost 8% more than last year,” he said.

The average IT salary is $2,630, up $270 from 2022.

Most specialists are in the age category from 26 to 35 years old. One third of specialists are women.

“We continue to work to turn Ukraine into the largest IT hub in Europe and become leaders in the development of the digital economy. Our goal is to increase the share of IT in the country’s GDP to 10%,” the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
