The government of Japan allocates 170 million dollars for Ukraine, which will be directed to emergency recovery projects, in particular – the reconstruction of critical infrastructure.
It is reported press service Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure.
The assistance will involve the provision by Japanese partners of goods and services necessary for recovery.
The decision on support will be finalized by concluding a grant agreement with the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
“The undoubted priority at this stage of reconstruction is the restoration of critical infrastructure necessary to ensure the basic needs of citizens. This is a necessary step for returning Ukrainians to their homes and supporting economic development in the regions,” said Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction Oleksandr Kubrakov.

Government of Japan singled out 95 million dollars for the restoration of critical infrastructure of Ukraine – the funds will be sent to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as part of a partnership agreement.
