At the next meeting of the G7 leaders, which will be held in Japan on May 19, there should be a statement on changing the regime of sectoral sanctions against the Russian Federation to a full export ban with some exceptions. Yes, it is planned to leave the export of medical, agricultural and other products.
However, the publication noted that representatives of Japan and the EU opposed such a decision.
“From our point of view, it’s simply impossible,” said one anonymous official.
Let’s remind
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance wrote that, according to Bloomberg, some of Ukraine’s key allies, including the United States, are considering the possibility of a complete ban on most exports to Russia in order to increase economic pressure on the Kremlin.
