Kadyrov allowed the murders of relatives of criminals

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, allowed the murder of relatives of people wanted for crimes. He made the statement at a New Year’s meeting with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Guard in Chechnya. The “Agency” drew attention to the post with the video.

“Anyone who violates public order or touches a police officer, a guest of the republic. If we do not find him, we will not look for him, we will find his family members. We always had it: and our fathers, if they did not find the culprit, they announced revenge his brother, his father. We will take revenge on them for their relative. They kill a person, then say: “I refuse this relative”. He will not refuse him until we shoot one of his relatives,” said the head of Chechnya.

Note: “Agency” quotes a statement based on the translation made by the opposition Telegram channel 1ADAT, which consistently criticizes the current authorities of Chechnya and Kadyrov personally.

As Kavkaz.Realii wrote, at a pre-New Year’s meeting with the commanders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Guard, Kadyrov urged them to get rid of their critics “wherever they are.”

“Everyone who does not agree with our vision, let them leave the republic. We pardoned many, released the detainees. We will not spare anyone who calls to organize something in Chechnya. No matter what state he is in, we will send a request for his extradition terrorist. If they don’t hand him over, then we have to get rid of him as best we can. They talk about us, make films about us, say what they want – we shouldn’t leave it at that,” Kadyrov said at the meeting

• These are not the only calls by Kadyrov to extrajudicial killings in recent months. In October, he called on law enforcement officials to “shoot people in the forehead” who disobeyed them. The state media, which quoted this statement, claimed that it was about participants in “unsanctioned riots”.
• In September, Kadyrov published a video in which his underage son Adam beats Nikita Zhuravel, who was arrested for burning the Koran. The son of the head of Chechnya did not bear the responsibility, but he received the title of Hero of the Republic and several awards from the leadership of Russian regions. In December, Ramzan Kadyrov said that it would be good if Adam killed Zhuravel.
