Kadyrov announced the attempt on the commander of the Chechen special forces “Akhmat”

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, reported that his assistant, the commander of the special unit “Akhmat” Apty Alaudinov, had been poisoned. Kadyrov announced this in his Telegram channel.

According to the head of Chechnya, on February 8, Alaudinov received a letter through his aides that was “impregnated with a poisonous substance” – what exactly, it is unknown, experts are now conducting analyses. After receiving first aid, the special forces commander and his two adjutants were hospitalized in a Moscow clinic – according to the head of Chechnya, nothing threatens their lives. Nothing is known about the nature of the poisoning.

Kadyrov said that the investigation into the attempt had begun and “the results are already in.” Alaudinov himself does not comment on what happened. Where exactly the attempt took place, Kadyrov did not say. However, it is known that at the beginning of February, Alaudinov was in the war in Ukraine.

At the time of publication of the news, there was no independent confirmation that there was indeed an attempt on Alaudinov and that he was hospitalized.
