The Ministry of Economy requires the Kyiv City State Administration to return the payments illegally received by officials of KMDA institutions at the beginning of the war as part of the “eSupport” program.
This is stated in the letter of the Ministry of Economy, which made public people’s deputy Olga Vasylevska-Smaglyuk.
The letter, which is dated June 19, informs about the inspection conducted by the Ministry of Finance on behalf of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“The Ministry of Finance verified applications for one-time financial assistance in connection with the loss of part of the salary, insured persons, the work of which has been temporarily suspended as a result of hostilities during the martial law in Ukraine,” the letter states.
The inspection revealed that the payments were received by employees of budgetary institutions of the KMDA, which is contrary to the terms of the “eSupport” program.
The Ministry of Economy provided the KMDA with a list of employees who illegally received assistance and demands that the funds be returned to the reserve fund of the state budget.
“In case of non-return of unreasonably received budget funds, the Ministry of Economy will be forced to go to court,” the letter says.
According to Olha Vasylevska-Smaglyuk, the aid was unlawfully received both directly by the officials of the KMDA and by the employees of communal enterprises under the control of the Kyiv City State Administration.
We remind you:
The terms of the “eSupport” program provided that assistance is provided to insured persons who work under the terms of an employment contract (contract), a gig contract, another civil law contract, on other grounds provided for by law, as well as to natural persons – entrepreneurs whose insured persons are not are budget institutions or mandatory state insurance funds.
One-time assistance amounted to UAH 6,500.
