President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during the negotiations with the Polish leadership on Wednesday, it was possible to find a solution to the problem of exporting Ukrainian grain to the European Union, which Polish farmers complained about.

Zelenskyy made the corresponding statement during a press conference with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, the correspondent of “European Pravda” reports.

“We discussed issues regarding Polish and Ukrainian farmers. We found a way out,” said the Ukrainian president.

He did not specify which way out he was talking about, but added that “in the coming days and weeks, we will finally resolve all issues.”

“Because there cannot be any questions or difficulties between such close partners and real friends as Poland and Ukraine,” Zelensky emphasized.

Ukraine exports a significant part of its grain through the land border with Poland due to the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation and the difficulty of exporting by sea.

The grain was supposed to go through Poland in transit to other countries, but it remains in the country and is sold there. This caused discontent among farmers from Poland and several other countries, who demanded that the authorities solve the problem.

We will remind, on April 5, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi is in Poland, his visit threatened to disrupt Polish farmers.
