The ex-chief of staff of Alexei Navalny in Ufa, Lilia Chanysheva, was transferred from correctional colony No. 28, which is located in the city of Berezniki, Perm Region.

Liliya Chanysheva was arrested in November 2021 in a “joint criminal case” against the Russian politician Alexei Navalny and his closest associates. Earlier, the authorities recognized Navalny’s headquarters as an extremist organization. Chanysheva was one of the first to be arrested in Russia in connection with their activities.
In June 2023, a court in Ufa sentenced Chanysheva to 7.5 years in prison and a fine of 400,000 rubles, with a seven-year ban on administering websites. Since December, Navalny’s former chief of staff has been in IC No. 28 in Bereznyky.
In March, the prosecutor’s office demanded a tougher sentence for Chanysheva, up to 10 years in prison.
