The fortune of the founder and CEO of Meta Platforms, Mark Zuckerberg, grew by $10 billion on April 27 and reached $87.3 billion, according to Bloomberg. This is the third largest one-day increase in Zuckerberg’s capital in history, the businessman rose to the 12th place in the ranking of Bloomberg billionaires.

What is the reason?
Zuckerberg’s capital increased thanks to a rally in Meta shares after the report for the first quarter of 2023.
The company’s revenue grew by 3% to $28.65 billion, although this figure had been declining for the previous three quarters. Wall Street expected revenue of $27.65 billion.
Net profit, although it fell by 24% to $5.71 billion, or $2.2 per share, turned out to be higher than forecasts. Analysts polled by Refinitiv expected the figure to be $2.03 per share, reports CNBC.
The number of daily active users of the Facebook social network (DAU) in the first quarter reached 2.04 billion, monthly active users — 2.99 billion.
