Alexei Navalny’s mother and lawyers are not allowed into the Salehard morgue, where his body is supposed to be. This was reported by the press secretary of politician Kira Yarmysh.

“Early in the morning, Alexei’s mother and the lawyers came to the morgue. They are not allowed inside. One of the lawyers was literally pushed out. When asked if Alexei’s body is there, the employees do not answer,” Yarmysh wrote.

Earlier, “Mediazona” discovered on cameras a cortege of patrol cars and a FSIN minibus, which could have taken the body of Alexei Navalny to Salekhard on the night of February 17.

Video cameras are located on both sides of the Ob crossing, the only land route between the colony (and the town of Labytnanga) and Salekhard. Around midnight and a few hours before the arrival of Navalny’s mother and lawyers, a motorcade of four cars was recorded: two DPS cars, a gray sedan with civilian license plates and a UAZ “loaf” minibus with two green stripes (such are applied to cars by the FSIN, Mediazona notes “).

The column moved noticeably slower than the other vehicles on the crossing. In the previous nights, there were no motorcades for the crossing, emphasizes “Mediazona”. The publication suggests that the politician’s body was taken to UAZ.

According to the FSIN, Alexei Navalny died on the afternoon of February 16 “after a walk.” Relatives have not yet seen his body. In the colony, they were told that they had taken the body to the morgue in Salekhard – the morgue declared that they did not have the body. More than 50,000 requests to hand over Navalny’s body to his family have already been sent to the Investigative Committee of Russia through the Dyatel service from OVD-Info.
