New service in “Die”: Kyivites will be able to pick up cars from the penalty area much easier

The Ministry of Digital Transformation has launched a new service for drivers that will help pick up a towed car from the penalty area. This was reported by the press service of the department.

New service
Now drivers can use a series of documents and immediately receive a QR code to pick up the car. To do this, you need to share digital copies of the technical passport and driver’s license through “Dia” in the “Kyiv Digital” application.
As explained in the Ministry of Digital, if citizens entered the number of the car in their “Kyiv Digital” profile, they will receive a push message about the evacuation of the car. Otherwise, press the “K” button at the bottom of the main screen, select the “Evacuation” service, then the “Check the car” option and enter the car number.

To share documents through “Diya” in the “Kyiv Digital” application, you need:
- open a push message about car evacuation;
- click “Get a car”;
- send driver’s documents through “Diya” – a certificate of vehicle registration and a driver’s license;
- specify the date when you will pick up the car;
- will pay a fine, as well as the cost of towing and storing the car;
- get a QR code to return the car.
“Previously, it took a lot of time and energy to return a car. Now you scan documents through Diya, instantly receive a QR code and pick up the car from the penalty area,” explained the head of the Ministry of Statistics, Mikhail Fedorov.
