NovaPay received a new NBU license and will now be able to open accounts and issue payment cards

The financial company NovaPay, part of the Novaya pochta group of companies, received an extended license from the National Bank of Ukraine, which will allow it to provide new services to individuals and businesses. The relevant decision was taken by the regulator on April 28, 2023. This was reported by the company’s press service.

Now NovaPay has an opportunity
- open and service accounts of private and corporate clients,
- issue cards to individuals’ accounts,
- carry out acquiring, i.e. non-cash acceptance of payments, for business,
- provide transfers without opening an account,
- credit
- receive money into the account and give it out.
In general, we are talking about all operations provided for by the law of Ukraine on payment services permitted under martial law.
“Like all market participants, we were waiting for the renewal of the license. For us, this is a “green light” for the expansion of existing financial services for clients and a complete reboot of the NovaPay business model. Opening accounts and own issuance of cards will make payments for clients and between them faster and more convenient,” said Andrey Kryvoshapko, CEO of NovaPay.
According to him, all products and services will be available both in Novaya Poshta branches and in the mobile application, which will appear this year.
