Novaya pochta resumed sending some products to EU countries

The Government of Poland has lifted restrictions on the import and transit of some types of food products. In connection with this, Novaya pochta has resumed receiving some products as part of international parcels sent to the EU. This was reported by the company’s press service.

What products can be sent abroad

The updated list of products that can be sent abroad: chocolate and chocolate candies with fillings, waffles, cookies, gingerbread, chewing gum, crispy bread, crackers and croutons, ready-made sauces, ketchup, mustard, canned fish or fish roe – provided if such products are suitable for long-term storage, they are transported exclusively in factory undamaged packaging and do not require a special storage temperature regime.

The total weight of products allowed by customs services for sending abroad is up to 10 kg.

What is prohibited will be sent

Dispatch is prohibited: meat, products of animal origin; products of short-term storage or requiring a special temperature regime; milk and sour milk products (including canned food with condensed milk); fruits, vegetables, edible fruits in any form (fresh, dried, dried, canned, etc.); nuts, seeds; coffee, tea; vegetable oils; cereals and cereals and flour, their bran; sugar, syrups, jams, jam, fruit jellies, marmalade, lozenge; fruit or nut purees and pastes, natural and artificial honey, fruit juices, vinegar, spices, eggs.

“Ministry of Finance” wrote that on April 19, Novaya pochta suspended the reception of food products for shipment to all EU countries due to the fact that the Polish government introduced temporary restrictions on the import and transit of a number of food products from Ukraine.
