Oleksiy Chernyshov: The heating season in Ukraine is over

The 2022/2023 heating season has officially ended in Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the Naftogaz Group, head of the Staff for preparation for the 2022/23 heating season, Oleksiy Chernyshov.
“Thank you to the heads of cities and regions, with whom we worked closely during this most difficult winter, staying in touch 24/7 and promptly solving all issues. Thank you to our heroes, gas workers, who directly ensured the extraction and supply of blue fuel and restored damaged areas objects. Despite shelling, missile terror and constant danger”– noted Oleksiy Chernyshov.
He also emphasized that Naftogaz Group has already started preparations for the next heating season of 2023/2024.
“No matter how much the enemy tried to leave Ukrainians without light and heat, we all together did not allow him to do it. I am sure that the experience gained over the past year will help us pass the next winter with dignity.”– added the head of the Naftogaz Group.
We would like to remind you that the company of the Naftogaz Group – JSC “Ukrtransgaz” – became the second gas storage operator in Europe that successfully passed certification in accordance with the new EU rules.
