A subsidiary legal entity of the First Channel, which is responsible for foreign broadcasting – JSC “Pervyi Kanal. Vsemirnaya Seth” – drew up a protocol on the administrative article on the LGBT-related demonstration with incorrect age marking. The relevant materials were registered in the Tagansky District Court of Moscow on Tuesday. Mediazona drew attention to this.
It is not known what caused the protocol to be drawn up. The maximum fine under this article is four million rubles. Previously, online cinemas were repeatedly fined for it.
In the summer of 2023, the Zamoskvoretskyi court of Moscow imposed two fines of one million rubles on “Kinopoyska” for showing LGBT scenes in films without proper marking. The first fine was received by the cinema for the films “Doctor You and His Women”, “Little Italy”, “Alexander”, “Love, Love, Love”. The second – for the films “Rimskie rasstavaniya” and “Zils-Maria”.
- Since December 2022, the dissemination of positive information about homosexuality, bisexuality and transgenderism has been prohibited in Russia. Fines of up to 400,000 rubles for citizens and up to five million rubles for organizations are provided for this.
