Part of the trains to Przemyśl is canceled for a month – UZ

From September 8, the Polish Railways begins planned infrastructure repairs, therefore some trains to Przemyśl from Ukraine are canceled until October 6, instead, an additional flight to Chelm appears.

Trains #89/90 Kyiv – Przemyśl and #73/74 Kharkiv – Przemyśl from September 7 to October 6 (departure from Kyiv and Kharkiv) will be cancelled.
As for other trains, then in September on Fridays and Saturdays (i.e. departures from Kyiv on September 7-8, 14-15, 21-22) only two Intercity+ trains will continue to operate:
- operating No. 705/706 Kyiv – Przemyśl;
- new #707/708 Kyiv – Przemyśl (departure from Kyiv 22:17, Przemyśl 06:23, return from Przemyśl at 11:15, arrival in Kyiv at 20:41).
However, in these 6 days trains #53/54 Kyiv – Przemyśl, #89/90 Kyiv – Przemyśl, #31/32 Zaporozhye – Przemyśl, #35/36 Odesa – Przemyśl, #73/74 Kharkiv – Przemyśl, #715/716 Kyiv – Przemyśl will be cancelled.
The schedule of trains #54 and #36 is also changing. Yes, #54 Przemyśl – Kyiv will depart from Przemyśl at 13:45 (instead of 20:28) and arrive in Kyiv at 05:34 (instead of 09:00). And train #36 Przemyśl – Odesa will depart at 13:45 (instead of 20:28) and will arrive in Odesa at 08:10 in the morning.
In order to compensate for the changes, from September 3, the Board of Directors appoints new train #119/120 Kyiv – Khelm. It will be the third daily train to this Polish city.
The train will be a day train, that is, it will not involve crossing the border in the middle of the night. It will depart from Kyiv at 06:28, arriving in Khelm at 17:27. Then passengers can transfer to the Polish train IC 21100 Chelm – Warsaw at 18:12 (arrival in Warsaw at 21:02).
Return departure from Chelm at 10:23 (change from train IC12100 Warsaw Vskhodnia 06:05 – Chelm 08:42), arrival in Kyiv at 22:45.
UZ adds that despite the repairs, the number of seats to Poland in September will even increase by about 100 thanks to the new flight to Chelm. If the third flight to Chelm is in demand in September, and it is agreed in the future, the number of “Polish” tickets will increase by 10%.
Tickets for the Polish route are sold 20 days in advance, a new date opens at 08:00 every morning (except Warsaw, which “starts” separately at 09:00). You can buy them in the UZ application.
