Participants of the party “about love and openness” were beaten in Tula

In Tula, security forces and people wearing masks and without identification marks broke into the Typography cultural center on the night of February 18, where a party about “love, openness and sexuality” called Amore party was taking place. This was reported, in particular, by the telegram channel “Ostrozhno, novosti”.

As the Telegram channel writes, a car with a large number of policemen arrived at the “Typography” and rushed inside. Some of the people were taken out into the street, some of them were beaten, one man was knocked to the ground and started to be beaten in the face with shouts. This was done by an employee in civilian clothes.

According to “OVD-Info”, the participants of the party were asked their names, ages and “what they do”, and they were photographed. “OVD-Info” also writes that those present were beaten and threatened with forced sending to the war in Ukraine. One of the participants of the event said that during the inspection they grabbed him by the hair and also made him sing the Tula anthem.

Several young people, supposedly with the most “feminine” appearance, were put into two “gazelles” and taken to the police station. A party participant told “OVD-Info” that there were nine people with him in the department, but some of the detainees could also be in other departments. They drew up a report on LGBTQ “propaganda”, told him that he would receive a summons to court, and then released him.

The official reaction of law enforcement agencies to these messages has not yet been given.

• After the Russian authorities recognized the non-existent “international LGBT movement” as an extremist organization, as well as after the scandalous “almost naked” party of blogger Anastasia Ivleeva, which caused the outrage of officials, law enforcement agencies began to massively disrupt parties for adults – both private and that were held in specialized clubs. Participants of such parties are detained, arrested or forced to publicly apologize for “immoral behavior”, and clubs are closed.
