On the night of August 7, hackers linked to Ukraine hacked the site of the Moscow City Bureau of Technical Inventory. The publication “Vazhney istorii” drew attention to this.

In a message on the website’s main page, hackers claim to have received data on real estate owners in Moscow. “Information about civil servants, politicians, military and representatives of the special services supporting the war with Ukraine has been handed over to the defense forces of Ukraine,” the statement says.

Now the website of MoshorBTY is not working. The institution has not yet commented on the break-in.

The hackers’ statement contains links to their Twitter and Telegram pages. It is said on Twitter that they are “Aitishniks working for peace in Ukraine.” Earlier, the “sudo rm -RF” account was mentioned in connection with the largest cyberattack on Rutube in May 2022. The group also claimed responsibility for hacking the website of the Skolkovo fund system in May 2023, “Vazhnei istorika” writes.

The Moscow City Bureau of Technical Inventory deals with the technical accounting of Moscow real estate. Current information about apartments, residential multi-storey buildings, private houses, country plots, including information about their owners, is collected here.
