The US ambassador in Moscow issued an official statement the day before, in which she once again expressed her condolences in connection with the terrorist attack in “Crocus City Hall” and said that the US would continue to share with the Russian authorities information about threats of terrorist attacks.

“Unfortunately, several Russian officials have misrepresented and publicly denied the usefulness of information that the US government provided to Russian security services earlier this month regarding threats from [признанной террористической группировки] “Islamic state,” the American diplomat said. According to her, the written information given to the Russian authorities was specific, timely and trustworthy.
