Part of the money went to the Roizman Foundation charity. Another 300,000 politicians will transfer to the head of Yekaterinburg “Memorial” Alexei Mosin, who was also fined in June for repeatedly discrediting the Russian army. “Memorial” also faces a fine of up to 500,000 rubles for violating the law on “foreign agents”. Roizman also promised to pay this fine.
- The Russian authorities liquidated “Memorial”, which recorded political repressions in the USSR and in modern Russia, in February 2022.
