In the Primorsky Krai and Khabarovsk Krai, in the Amur Region, in Yakutia and Sakhalin, residents complain about problems with access to Telegram and WhatsApp messengers. This is reported by Sibir.Realii.
Andrey Suslov, Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Technologies of Yakutia, said that the malfunctions of Telegram and WhatsApp are related to preventive works coordinated with Roskomnadzor. “At the moment, all communication lines and cellular operators are working normally. The failure of the messengers is temporarily connected with the preventive works coordinated with Roskomnadzor,” the official said. The messengers are available only through VPN.
In Kamchatka, the Ministry of Digital Development stated that they do not know the reason for the interruptions in the work of messengers. “Negotiations were held with cellular operators, the companies stated that they do not know the cause of the incident,” the department said.
