Rosstat presented such figures after “refining” data for 2022 and the first quarter of 2023 due to “correction of banking statistics” and “according to the results of the calculation of the balance of income and expenditure of the population”. After the “refinement”, the level of well-being of Russians on paper has improved significantly.
