On the night of April 9, the Russian Federation attacked energy infrastructure facilities in the Poltava and Lviv regions, and restrictions on electricity consumption are being applied in the Kharkiv region.

It is noted that during the past day, due to network restrictions on the lines of the transmission system operator, blackout schedules were applied in the Kharkiv region. On the morning of April 9, blackout schedules are also in effect in the Kharkiv region.
“At night, the enemy attacked a high-voltage substation in the Poltava region – a fire broke out on the territory, which was extinguished by the emergency services, there were no casualties. There is damage to the equipment.
A high-voltage substation in the Lviv region was also attacked, and the equipment ignited. There are no casualties. The review and clarification of the consequences of the night attacks is ongoing,” the message reads.
In addition, due to hostilities in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, two high-voltage overhead lines were disconnected at the same time, and an industrial facility was de-energized. Currently, all consumers have been restored.
In Mykolaiv Oblast, a high-voltage substation was shut down due to equipment damage, and household consumers were without power.
It is added that the import of electricity is forecasted for the current day – 1781 MWh. Export is also expected – up to 345 MWh.
