In the Moscow region, the son and mother-in-law of the musician Stas Namin were found murdered in a country house. This was reported by RIA Novosti, RBC, Baza, 112 and a number of other mass media with reference to sources.
The Investigative Committee, in its report on the murder of a pensioner and her 30-year-old grandson in the village of Kryukovo in the Istryn district, does not disclose the identities of the victims. On the bodies of the victims, the report says, there were stab wounds, a knife and a hammer were found at the scene of the crime. A criminal case has been opened.
An RBC source familiar with the investigation and an interlocutor close to the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that Praskovya Tkachenko and Artyom Mikoyan (real name Stas Namin — Anastas Mikoyan) were killed.
According to Mash and 112, the deceased’s brother, 39-year-old Roman Mikoyan, was detained on suspicion of murder. According to the investigation, he first hit 85-year-old Polina Tkachenko on the head, then, already on the street, attacked his brother Artyom with a knife. “Baza” writes that Roman Mikoyan released the police himself after the murder. According to Mash and 112, the motive for the murder could be a property dispute between relatives.
Stas Namin is a Soviet and Russian musician, theater and film director, producer. Creator and leader of the “Flowers” group. In 1987, he created the country’s first production center SNC (Stas Namin Center), which, in particular, worked with the groups “Kalinov Most”, “Brigade C”, “Moral Code” and “Gorky Park”. Namin also organized the International Peace Music Festival in Moscow’s Luzhniki, at which Western rock musicians Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe, Ozzy Osbourne, Scorpions, Cinderella, Skid Row performed in August 1989. Stas Namin is the grandson of Soviet politician Anastas Mikoyan.
