Students of the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) showed a ready-made medevac helicopter for GUR MOU, which was collected within the framework of the Donate To Evacuate initiative from the KSE Foundation and DefDev.
The helicopter was painted with a camouflage pattern of the names of everyone who donated $100 or more.
The pattern of names was developed and applied by famous Ukrainian calligraphers – sisters Lopukhina and their team. Now the names of all those who supported the initiative Donate To Evacuateliterally protect the wounded heroes.
The initiative was supported not only by individuals, but also by brands. Their names also became part of the camouflage pattern. The contributions of ICU, FUIB, Dragon Capital, “Nova Poshta”, OKKO, Asters, Biosphere Corporation, Genesis, OTP Bank, umgi, WOG, “Farmak”, EBS, “Peron”, Agro Region, OTP Leasing and “Mister Pillows” are significant accelerated the closing of the collection.
“Helping the military is the duty of every conscientious Ukrainian business, and we are grateful to everyone for their support and faith in our initiative. We are also proud that those who believe in our future and support our studies have helped us realize this, at first glance, incredible idea“, – students of KSE.
“We don’t have any extra minutes in this war. Thank you to everyone who understood this immediately and promptly supported the collection. The helicopter reduced the time it took to evacuate the wounded, and therefore increased their chances of returning home alive“, – representative of GUR MOU.
In total, KSE students assembled a pair of MI-2 AM-1 medevac helicopters for the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. It is the fastest life-saving transport on the battlefield – arriving approximately 15 minutes after request.
