A Su-34 fighter-bomber crashed in the Voronezh region. Both crew members ejected, their lives are not in danger. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

The plane was performing a scheduled training flight without ammunition. The fighter jet fell far from populated areas and was not destroyed on the ground, the message says. The preliminary cause of the crash was called a technical malfunction.

“Baza” reports that the Su-34 fell in the Kashir district, in a field near the village of Kolodezny. It is located approximately 30 kilometers south of Voronezh.

Telegram channel “112” writes with reference to the source that the plane’s landing gear failed. After the crash, it caught fire.

On August 12, a Su-30 fighter jet crashed in the Kaliningrad region, the crew members were killed. The preliminary cause of the crash was called a technical malfunction.

On September 12, a Su-24 bomber crashed during a training flight in the Volgograd region. The bomber fell in a deserted area. Three days later, fragments of the bodies, presumably of the pilot and navigator of the Su-24, were found. The cause of the crash has not yet been named.
