The project “Tell Gordeeva” with interviews of Russian-speaking figures is suspending its work. This was reported by the host Kateryna Gordeeva.

According to the journalist, the decision was made due to the ban on advertising by “foreign agents”, which the State Duma approved today, February 28.

Gordeeva wrote that even before the adoption of the law, anonymous “well-wishers” intimidated the project’s advertisers. “But now advertising in our country is a crime. It’s hard to believe that someone would decide to do it out of noble motives, risking business, themselves, and loved ones,” the journalist believes.

Judging by her message, “Tell Gordeeva” will release several more interviews that have already been filmed or are being filmed right now. “It is very difficult for us to tell you, our viewers, that we are everything. Of course, we will look for a way out,” the journalist summed up.

The Russian authorities declared Gordeeva a foreign agent in September 2022. According to the journalist, the project was funded by advertising integrations.
