The city court in Sergiev Posade near Moscow sentenced six associates of the nationalist Maksym Martsinkevich, known by the nickname Tesak, to long imprisonment in a high-security colony.

Semyon Tokmakov and Andrey Kail received the maximum terms – 15 years each, Mediazona writes. Alexey Gudylin and Pavel Khrulev — received 13 years each, Maksym Hotulev — 10 years, and Alexander Lysenkov — 8 years.

In July, the jury found all six associates of Tesak guilty of the murders of migrants in the Moscow region in 2003 and 2007. According to prosecutors, Tokmakov and Kyle are involved in all four murders. The rest – to two.

The accusation was based on Martsinkevich’s testimony, which he gave shortly before his death in the SIZO during the transfer from Krasnoyarsk to Moscow. The defendants and their lawyers insisted during the trial that Tesak had put himself and them under torture. Previously, the accused gave incriminating statements, but they refused them in court.

During the trial, three jurors were removed from participating in it. Two of them allegedly violated the secrecy of the conference room, discussing the case in the presence of outsiders.
