As economists note, the result of the rapid growth of the Polish economy is largely the result of the influx of refugees from war-torn Ukraine. This contributed to an increase in consumption, especially of essential goods.
Maciej Kalvasinski, an analyst of the Bankier.pl portal, notes that, according to official data, for the first time in more than 40 years, Poland’s GDP per hour has grown more than China’s GDP.
