During the three days of voting, there were several cases of damage to the ballots: voters in different regions poured green or paint into the ballot boxes, as well as arson. More than 60 criminal cases were initiated, more than 150 administrative protocols were drawn up, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia said. The majority of criminal cases were initiated under the articles of knowingly false information about a terrorist attack and obstruction of the exercise of voters’ rights.
