Street art artist Philippenzo (Philipp Kozlov) announced his nomination to the Moscow City Duma in the “inoagentov” team. His video appeal was published by “Sota”.

According to the artist, he is not a native Muscovite, but all his creative activity is connected with the capital. As a deputy, he wants to return art to the streets of Moscow, lift the ban on rallies, make the Kremlin white and turn it into a recreation area, as well as rename Tverskaya Street in the center of Moscow to Navalny Avenue.

Philippenzo is the author of the works “Our Zinc”, “Russian Rainbow” and “Izrossilovanie”, for which he was wanted in Russia in a case of vandalism motivated by political hatred. Now the artist lives in Lithuania.

Politician Elvyra Vykhareva, journalist Sergey Markelov, TV presenter Tatiana Lazareva, feminist activist Darya Serenko and economist Vladyslav Inozemtsev announced their nomination to the Moscow City Duma earlier. The law so far allows “foreign agents” to elect and be elected (but prohibits “influencing the election”).

Elections to the Moscow City Duma should be held in September 2024.
