The budget was reduced to a deficit of 220 billion in three months of the year

For January-March, the state budget was reduced to a deficit of 220.3 billion UAH, or about 6 billion dollars.

It is reported press service Ministry of Finance with reference to operational data of the State Treasury Service.

Regarding statistics in March, to the general fund of the budget arrived UAH 152.2 billion. Most of this amount is paid import value added tax (VAT) – UAH 29.3 billion and income tax – UAH 26.2 billion.

The budget received more than UAH 14 billion from the payment of VAT on goods produced in Ukraine (including reimbursement), more than UAH 13 billion from personal income tax and military service, UAH 9.8 billion from excise tax, and UAH 7.7 billion from rent payments for the use of subsoil.

Income of the single social contribution to the Pension Fund and social insurance funds in March amounted to 36.2 billion hryvnias.

In addition, in March, the general fund of the budget received 45.8 billion UAH in the form of international aid (grants).

Budget expenditures for three months of the year amounted to UAH 747.4 billion, including the general fund – UAH 635.5 billion, or 88.7% of the figure.

During this period, the state budget was implemented with a deficit in the amount of UAH 220.3 billion. In particular, the general fund has a deficit of 244.7 billion hryvnias against the planned deficit of 467.9 billion hryvnias.

Actual state borrowings to the general fund of the state budget for three months amounted to UAH 403.5 billion, or 83.7% of the planned for this period. UAH 137.7 billion was raised from the placement of OVDP, including UAH 32.1 billion in foreign currency. UAH 42.2 billion was raised due to the issuance of military OVDP bonds.

UAH 265.9 billion was raised from external sources. The largest amount is 4.5 billion euros of macro-financial assistance from the EU and 2.4 billion Canadian dollars in loans from Canada.

At the same time, payments for repayment of the state debt for January-March amounted to UAH 96.7 billion (88.6% of the plan), maintenance payments – UAH 24.2 billion (88.2% of the plan).
