The Cabinet of Ministers will send additional funds to the “e-Home” program

The Cabinet of Ministers accelerates the implementation of the “e-Osel” preferential lending program – in particular, the government agreed on the possibility of raising additional funds by the “Ukrfinzhilye” company on the open financial market. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

“The program is “e-Oselya” turned out to be very popular among citizens. We see a high demand for preferential loans at 3% per annum. The government is doing everything to continue the work of the program and expand the number of its potential participants.

Now we need to give a new impetus to the financing of the Ukrfinzhillo company, which will allow us to start the process of attracting additional funds, including on the open financial market. We also count on attracting funds from international organizations. I am confident that the number of loans issued will increase in the near future,” said Yulia Svyridenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy.

What is known about the program

The “e-Osel” affordable mortgage lending program has been operating since October last year.

During this time, 948 Ukrainian families received an affordable loan for the purchase of their own housing for a total of more than UAH 1.2 billion. All of them are representatives of critically important professions for the state: 782 military and security personnel, 85 doctors, 71 teachers and 10 scientists, the Ministry of Economy added.

Loans to these categories of the population are provided at 3% per annum.

It is planned that this year the list of categories of citizens who will be able to get a loan for their own housing will increase — they will be able to take a loan for the purchase of housing at 7% per annum. The government expects to make this program permanent.
