On Monday, the High Anti-Corruption Court chose in absentia a preventive measure in the form of detention for the former acting director of the Odesa Port Plant.

Investigating judge VAX satisfied the request of the detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), approved by the prosecutor of the SAP, and chose a preventive measure for the former acting director of JSC “Odesa Port Plant” in the form of detention.
“After the arrest of the person and delivery to the place of pre-trial investigation, the investigating judge will decide on the application of this preventive measure,” the SAP clarified.
The exhibitor is suspected of participating in a criminal organization headed by the former head of the State Property Fund, Dmytro Sennychenko, which during 2019-2021 seized more than UAH 500 million of funds from state-owned enterprises, including “Odesa Port Plant” and “United Mining and Chemical Company.”
Later, Sennichenko was announced in search. Along with him, they are looking for: Pavel Prysiazhniuk, Andrii Hmyrin, former acting director of the OGHC Artur Somov, former acting the director of OPZ Mykola Parsentiev, as well as the owners of the company “Agro Gas Trading” Volodymyr Kolot and Oleksandr Horbunenko.
