The Central Electoral Commission of Russia processed all 100% of the protocols from the last March 15-17 presidential elections. According to the CEC, the current President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, won 27.28% of the vote. He will hold the post of head of state for another six years.

The other three candidates did not get five percent each. Mykola Kharitonov from the CPRF received 4.31% of votes, Vladyslav Davankov (“New People”) received 3.85%, and Leonid Slutsky (LDPR) received 3.2%.

The turnout for the elections was 77.44% of all Russians with the right to vote. The head of the CEC, Ella Pamfilova, announced that this is a record figure in the entire history of presidential elections.

Voting results are uneven. In a number of polling stations, Putin’s competitors won a significantly higher percentage of votes. First of all, this applies to Vladyslav Davankov – some opposition politicians, including Maksym Kats, called for him to vote as an alternative to Putin. “We can explain” publication notes that in several districts of Moscow, Davankov won about 20% of the votes, and Putin – about 60%. In at least four Moscow precincts, Putin won less than 50% of the vote. At the same time, there are areas in Moscow where Putin wins more than 90%, and the number of votes for Davankov is counted in units. Experts assume that we are talking about “rewriting protocols”, that is, falsifications. Also, independent experts point to anomalies in turnout in many regions.

Also, the defeat of Putin Davankova was recorded at three university polling stations: at the Novosibirsk State University, the Far Eastern Federal University, and at the MIPT in Dolgoprudno near Moscow. This is reported by Sibir.Realii.

According to official data, Putin received less than 80% of the vote in several regions in the north-west of Russia, the least in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. He has more than 98% in Chechnya.

Voting also took place in the occupied territories of Ukraine. In all these regions, according to official data, Putin’s result is more than 90%.

The voter rights movement “Voice” called the elections “imitation” due to the fact that none of Putin’s real opponents were allowed to participate. “Holos” also recorded violations of voting in many regions of Russia. The movement reported about “carousel” voting (when one voter votes consecutively at several precincts), ballot slips, and falsification of data in the final reports.
