In Orenburg, the first criminal case in Russia was instituted under the article on the organization of the activities of an extremist organization due to involvement with LGBT people. In November of last year, the Supreme Court of Russia recognized the non-existent international LGBT movement as extremist.

As the head of the “League of Safe Internet” Ekaterina Myzulyna reported, the case was initiated against the LGBT club “Pose”. Previously, raids with the participation of law enforcement officers were conducted there repeatedly based on reports of Z-activists. The last raid before the initiation of the case took place on March 12, after which a video with guests of the establishment was published by Z-channels.

At the end of February, the Krasnoyarsk bar “Elton” announced its closure after a police investigation based on Ekaterina Mizulyna’s denunciation, as well as a visit by activists of the “Northern Man” movement, who tried to disrupt the work of the establishment. After that, Myzulyna initiated an inspection of the bar of the same name in Novosibirsk.

In Krasnoyarsk, the police began checking the second bar after the denunciation of the deputy Elena Penzina, who accused the establishment of “promoting LGBT” and insulting the feelings of believers.

In March, in Krasnoyarsk, after the denunciation of the deputy Elena Penzyna, they began to check the bar in which the dancer performed as a Catholic nun. In addition, unknown whistleblowers complained about the “Dosky” bar in Voronezh because two girls were kissing there – a police investigation also began there.
