The Verkhovna Rada approved the law by which the procedure for declaring military equipment and other goods during the importation of military equipment to Ukraine is unified according to NATO standards.

About this reported Danylo Hetmantsev, head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy.

Law No. 9402 amends the Customs Code and other laws of Ukraine regarding unification with European and North Atlantic standards of procedures for declaring military equipment and other goods.

The draft law proposes to allow during customs clearance of goods from units of the armed forces of EU and NATO member states, which are admitted to the territory of Ukraine, instead of the customs declaration, use Form 302 according to the form of the state from which such units are sent.

Also, the use of Form 302 is allowed in the customs regimes of temporary import, temporary export, re-export, re-import and transit.

According to the people’s deputy, the document was developed as part of the implementation of Ukraine’s course for full membership in the EU and NATO.
