The court closed the case of discrediting the army against the leader of “Nogu selo!”

The court in Moscow terminated the proceedings in the administrative case against the leader of the group “Nogu svelo!” Maxim Pokrovsky. He was accused in an article about the discrediting of the Russian army for a post on social networks. This is reported by “Network Freedoms” with reference to the lawyer Alexander Peredruk.

The administrative case was terminated due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. The police discovered the post in May of last year, but the court began to consider the protocol only in March 2023.

A protocol was drawn up on Pokrovsky on an article about the discrediting of the Russian army due to a post on VKontakte about the song “We don’t want war!”. In it, the musician wrote that the authorities “are misleading the citizens of Russia in order to force them to commit violent acts against the citizens of Ukraine in the context of a special military operation.”

Many of them were left with positions and platforms for performances, some were forced to go abroad, others, for example, the leader of the rock group “DDT” Yuri Shevchuk, actor Artur Smolyaninov, were brought administrative cases for discrediting the Russian army.
