Deputies of the State Duma adopted in the second and third readings a draft law multiplying fines for violations of the rules of military accounting. The law will enter into force already during the autumn draft, if it is signed by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.

The law increases the fine to 30,000 rubles for non-appearance of a citizen at the military enlistment office on a summons. Initially, the deputies planned to increase the fine to 50,000.

The document increases up to 5 thousand rubles for not notifying the military enlistment office about moving to another region or country, getting an education, changing job or position, or changing family status. (Conscripts must inform the Ministry of Defense about all this). Moving without notifying the military enlistment office during the conscription period threatens the conscript with a fine of up to 20,000 rubles.

Up to 400,000 rubles will be fined for legal entities that do not assist military enlistment offices in mobilization. The same fine is provided for failure to fulfill the obligation to organize or ensure the delivery of equipment, if it is mobilized (according to the law, not only citizens can be mobilized into the army, but also, for example, motor vehicles).

A fine of up to 25,000 rubles will be imposed for evasion of the medical examination prescribed for recruitment events.
