The Ministry of Defense of Estonia said that all products of manufacturers that continue to operate in Russia will be removed from sales points on the territory of the Estonian Defense Forces and other places under the authority of the department.

It is noted that goods from manufacturers who continue to work in Russia and thereby contribute to the financing of the Russian military machine will be removed from sales points on the territory of the Estonian Defense Forces and other places subordinate to the Ministry of Defense.
The decision applies to manufacturers included in the NACP list international sponsors of the war. Vending machines, cafes and other retail outlets within the DoD control area will no longer sell products from companies such as PepsiCo, Mars, Nestle, Unilever and Mondelēz International. This includes chocolate, cookies, chips, ice cream, gum and soft drinks.
“Many Western companies have stopped their activities in Russia, but there are still those who support the Russian economy and, accordingly, its military machine,” said Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur.
The distribution of the products of tobacco companies Philip Morris International and Japan Tobacco International (JTI) is also stopped.
Pevkur reminds that for most products there are alternatives from domestic manufacturers as well, and that the idea of a solution is bigger than the small inconvenience caused by the situation.
