Since the whereabouts of the former First Deputy Minister have not been established, he was informed of the suspicion in accordance with Art. 135, Art. 278 of the CCP of Ukraine.
In 2015, the minister, together with his deputy, who was also the head of the Tariff Council of the Ministry of Infrastructure, issued an order that allowed private companies to charge half of the rate of shipping dues from ships in the Pivdenny seaport.

According to that order, only a part of the funds was allocated to the state-owned enterprise, and the rest was collected by private companies. As a result, the state suffered more than 30 million dollars. USA losses, which is confirmed by the relevant conclusions of the examinations.
The pre-trial investigation in the case continues, other persons who may be involved in the commission of this crime are being identified.
