Arakhamia: we want to take away the management of seized assets from ARMA

The leader of the “Servant of the People” faction in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arakhamia, proposes to close the National Agency for Search and Asset Management and transfer the seized assets to the State Property Fund.

He stated this during the press briefing “Investments during the war”, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

“[АРМА] was created as one of the conditions for the liberalization of the visa regime with the EU, and in the end it turned into a closed intercommunity, where many assets were arrested, everything is opaque. We want to transfer this to the FDM, through “Prozorro.Prodazhi”, an open register, so that everyone can see it and have access to these (arrested) objects,” he said.

We remind you:

Previously, the European Parliament wrote that as part of the transformation of the State Property Fund into a sovereign fund, the institution can transfer assets confiscated by the state to the management of Russians. In particular, the shares of Russian oligarch Vladimir Yevtushenkov’s companies, the seizure of which was the first such case in Ukraine, handed over in the management of the State Property Fund.
