The export of meat, eggs and some grains from Ukraine has been simplified

The Cabinet of Ministers canceled licenses for the export of a number of meat products and eggs, as well as rye, oats and millet.

Export licenses were canceled for the period of 2023 by resolution #472.

The resolution applies to the export of live cattle (cattle) and frozen cattle meat, chicken meat, meat and meat by-products, edible flour from meat or by-products, cattle meat, chicken eggs, and also rye, oats and millet.

Minagro draws attention to the fact that the resolution was developed in response to the appeal of industry and profile associations with a request to cancel export licensing. The government’s decision will allow to optimize the export of agricultural products and increase the inflow of foreign exchange earnings to Ukraine, the department is convinced.

The changes should not affect the supply of these goods on the domestic market, the ministry emphasizes, because Ukrainian producers will be able to meet the needs of meat production of all kinds at a sufficient level.
